Professional accreditation to industry-recognised organisations is an intrinsic part of the fresh produce business. Accreditation informs those unfamiliar with R&G that the company adheres to the highest standards of professionalism, competency and credibility.

R&G strives to ensure that all products are purchased, stored and delivered to the highest hygiene standards and in accordance with all relevant UK and EU legal requirements.

For over a decade, R&G has been awarded the Grade A British Retail Consortium food standard – the benchmark for all food producers and manufacturers in the UK. The company is also one of the very few fresh produce suppliers to receive a much coveted zero non compliance rating by external auditors.

The Grade A food safety rating and zero non compliance award is just an example of an array of accreditations and quality assurance initiatives undertaken by the company.

R&G holds EFSIS (European Food Safety Inspection Service) Higher Level Accreditation. The company is also a member of The Assured Produce Scheme and supports the British Farm Standard.

R&G is also very conscious about the environment and has recently become LEAF accredited (Linking Environment & Farming). All R&G’s farming operations are accredited to a baseline standard called Global GAP (Good Agricultural Practice).
