I joined R&G in December 2002 as a Quality Assurance Manager and over the years have progressed to the post of Technical Manager. I have been working in the fresh produce industry for more than 17 years in various technical and quality assurance roles. I am a fully accredited 3rd party BRC approved auditor and HACCP trained to implement systems to minimise food safety risks.
I have overall responsibility for Food Safety, Quality, Technical Support, Assurance Schemes and Ethical Standards, as stipulated by SEDEX.
I’m passionate about food and have a clear favourite fresh cut herb. In my case it is coriander, a very aromatic herb where both the stalks & leaves add so much to a dish, especially Haleem, which is a speciality dish from Lahore, consisting of lentils and lamb cooked into a smooth paste.
