I was brought up loving herbs. I used to spend school holidays working with my grandfather in Covent Garden and probably always knew I would come into the business.
I studied Geology at university but never really wanted to pursue that as a career. I ended up working in a restaurant for a year whilst I decided what to do and eventually went back to study Horticulture before then joining the business. I love food, I love cooking and enjoy entertaining, so having access to a variety of fresh herbs and ingredients is fantastic.
As a father of four and responsible for the day to day running of R&G, my spare time is limited! I love sport and represented Great Britain as an under-21 hockey player. I was also accepted into the Royal Ballet School at the age of 6. I didn’t join as I preferred football – and still do to this day!
